Lewis Family Tattoo Company opened in 2010 and is owned and operated by veteran tattoo artist, Derek Lewis and his wife Christine. LFTC is located at 2235A Dundas St West, on the 2nd floor, just above the Roncesvalles Village in Toronto's west end and only a few blocks south of TTC Dundas West Station. We've been at this West End location for the last 13 years.
LFTC is a fully disposable studio which means needles and tubes are single use only. We have pigment options for those who are vegan or have specific allergies and we are the proud home of Better Butter Care, a limited ingredient body butter used before, during and after tattooing that aids in the healing process.
Our green BodySafe Pass and licence from the City of Toronto Public Health are on display as you walk up the stairs, as is a selection of art for viewing and for sale - ask us!

Derek Lewis

Derek specializes in cover up tattoos and fix up tattoos. With over 30 yrs of tattooing experience, Derek's knowledge can assist in refreshing old tattoos or turning that unwanted tattoo into something you can be proud of!
All bodies, all art styles welcome.
Derek is appointment only and his books are always open.
Samantha Schroeder
​
Sam started her apprenticeship under the skillful guidance of Derek in 2019. Specializing in mandalas and blackwork, Sam's designs focus on dotwork shading, lines and symmetry. If you're looking for an artist to fulfill your fine line, geometric, dotwork dreams, Sam is your gal!
Shaifa (shay-fa)

Shaifa started her apprenticeship in 2015, and, after some time off to build her family, began tattooing full time in March of 2020. Shaifa is very versatile and has experience creating finalize, script, and illustrative tattoos and designs. Some of her favourite tattoos are based in florals, neotraditional anime and pop culture.
Shaifa is available by appointment and her books are always open!
Alan Irvine
​
Alan (aka Sparki) started his apprenticeship with Derek back in 2017 at LFTC. After obtaining a background 3d Modeling and Photoshop, he developed an affinity for retro style Manga art as well as Japanese pop art after spending 6 years living in and around Tokyo. Shortly after returning to Toronto he began his pursuit into tattooing. Currently Alan seeks to blend his fondness for Manga art with the more contemporary stylings of modern, neo-traditional tattoos
Christine
​
Christine is our studio manager. She's usually the one you speak with either over the phone or through our email. Christine keeps everything running smoothly and her attention to the small details keep us on track.
And she makes a mean cup of tea.
